HAND-DELIVERY: You can hire a recommended transporter to hand-deliver your puppy to you directly to your door. We can put you in touch with a ground transporter or flight nanny for a quote on this service. Puppies will be delivered by car or flight nanny with this option. Please note: we are not responsible for delivery fees, or anything related to delivery once the puppy leaves our care.
AIRLINE DELIVERY: You are also welcome to fly in and take your puppy home as a carry-on. We can meet you at the Nashville or Louisville international airport! We will NOT ship pups as cargo.
PICK UP AT OUR HOME: Local families and those who wish to drive to pick up their puppy are welcome on scheduled puppy pick-up dates! For the safety of our puppies, we do not allow "puppy shoppers" to our home. Sorry for any inconvenience but having people visit, with no vested interest in our puppies, puts them at risk for illness, and stress on the mothers. Once puppies are vaccinated, we will set up a date/time to visit and pick up your puppy at our home in person.
There is a ton of misinformation all over the internet of how to purchase a puppy. The issue with this online advice is their interest is only the buyer, not the health and safety of the mom and puppies. Please remember that our facility is our home. Our interests are vested in the health and safety of our puppies. We ask that you check us us online rather than in person, look at photos of current and previous litters and read our testimonials and comments on Facebook to learn more about us.
The following are some if the reasons we don’t allow visits from families that have not placed a deposit.
1. Young pups don’t have fully developed immune systems and are susceptible to life threatening illnesses. Unsuspecting visitors can carry germs on clothing, shoes and even car tires and bring diseases and parasites including parvovirus, distemper, giardia etc. with them when visiting pups. This can affect the health of not only puppies but other dogs on our property.
2. Stressed out Moms create stressed out pups. A new mother is emotionally charged and in hyper protective mode. When a stranger comes to visit, Mom becomes stressed causing her body to create cortisol which goes into the milk. The puppies consume this cortisol rich milk and become stressed themselves.
3. Panicked Moms hurt pups. When a stranger comes to visit Moms state of mind changes rapidly. She feels threaten and moves quickly to assess the threat. Moms can unintentionally step on or crush a pup in their urgency to get out of the whelping box to access the threat.
4. We don’t “own” the pups. All the pups are usually pre-sold to other families. I have been entrusted with the care of their pups for the first critical weeks of their lives. We must do everything we can to protect them. If one of the puppies was yours, I’m certain you would expect me to do the same for your puppy to ensure that he/she leaves my home healthy, happy and safe.
PLEASE NOTE: The majority of our dogs live in guardian homes therefore, they aren't always at our home to be seen.
Sometimes these dogs may have gone home by the time your puppy is to be picked up. Per our guardian home contract moms can leave by 8-weeks and return to their families so if the guardian owner wants to pick up the mom they may not be available.
For the safety of our dogs and young puppies as well as our family, we will not allow tours of our home or whelping areas.
FLIGHT NANNY: You may hire a flight nanny from one of our recommended companies to hand deliver your pup to your local airport. The company delivering will give you a direct quote.
MEETING: We will personally meet you with your puppy to help cut down on travel costs up to two hours from our home. This must be done on a day we do not have other families picking up from our home. If we can arrange multiple meetings in the same area that is preferred.
